**NEW LICENCING LAW**

Legislation Changes regarding the hiring of stretch limousines will come into effect from January 2008.

Police will be cracking down on illegal operations.

Dont be caught hiring an illegal limo

From January 2008 police will be cracking down on illegal Limo operators.New legislation that previously exempt vehicles from being licenced by allowing vehicles to be hired for contract work under section 75 miscellaneous provisins act 1976 will be removed.

This means that from January any vehicle which of this type hired with a driver will have to be licenced by the local authority.

A memo from the local borough council has pointed out the seriousness of the issue by stating that any vehicle of this type operating without a licence from January 2008 will clearly be operating unlawfully and therefore will have insurance implications.

At the present time we at Jewels are proud to be the only warrington borough council licenced operator of stretch limousines.
